Helping a young platform look credible to Fortune 500 event teams
Event Tech Stack is a unified event platform that helps teams plan, launch, and run in-person, virtual, and hybrid events with fewer tools and less stress. It's built by the Chicago team behind Sound Investments, whose 20 years of event work spans more than 10,000 events for brands like Yahoo, Amazon, Verizon, PepsiCo, and Pfizer.
The team knows real event pressure firsthand, and its craft shows. Its brand film "Dreamstack" won three 2026 Telly Awards for writing, videography and cinematography, and music.

Challenges
Event Tech Stack had a product built by people who've run events for the Fortune 500, but the website didn't say so. By the team's own assessment, it led with features before naming the problem, felt broad instead of focused, and never made clear who the platform was for.
Visitors had to work out the product story themselves. It also didn't look the part. The team was selling to enterprise event teams, and they knew the website looked light next to bigger competitors. For buyers comparing options side by side, that made Event Tech Stack look like the riskier choice.

Approach
We reworked Event Tech Stack's positioning so its ideal buyers could understand who it's for and what it does, and the team signed it off before anything was designed. From there, we rebuilt the site architecture around product outcomes instead of features, with every page addressing one specific pain point, its solution, and the result.
We then redesigned the site to look like an established company enterprise teams can trust. Each page got a clear place in the buyer's journey, a primary action, and social proof placed where buyers hesitate. We redesigned the product visuals to show the platform instead of describing it, and migrated 30+ pages from WordPress to Webflow on a component-based system the team can run on its own.
